Magnetrol International first marketed its level controls for steam boilers in 1932. Its people have built a worldwide reputation for high quality and durable level and flow controls able to withstand the stresses that are routinely found in modern process industries. Delivering tailor made solutions to the hazardous process industry is our specialty.

With the introduction of Eclipse® Guided Wave Radar in 1998, Magnetrol has brought leading-edge level control to the industry at reduced capital cost. Other recent innovations at Magnetrol have advanced the capabilities of ultrasonic, thermal dispersion and air sonar technologies to provide more accurate and reliable controls while reducing product operating costs. Where application demands favor buoyancy level controls, advanced Modulevel® transmitters lead the industry. Magnetrol has also re-invented visual indication technology with its founding of Orion Instruments and the introduction of Orion's Magnetic Level Indicators, or MLIs, in 2001.

Magnetrol level and flow controls use state-of-the art
technology and are produced under strict quality
procedures of ISO 9001 - PED 97/23/EC. Magnetrol
quality is achieved by using fully traceable materials,
ASME IX qualified welders and the capability to work
with standard as well as exotic materials. Magnetrol
builds standard and custom-built equipment for all
industries. The integration of SIL philosophy into
the basic concept design results in safer-to-use
controls that self-ensure their correct operation
and report any possible malfunctions. Magnetrol's
entire R&D budget is devoted to optimizing the design
of level controls for minimal cost of ownership by
durability.
