Quarter Turn & Linear Actuators

A quarter turn actuator is used when a system uses air, liquid, or electricity. A linear actuator has force applied in a linear way as opposed to rotary, such as a motor.

Bray offers two handles for on-off and throttling service – one for resilient seated valves from 1"-12" (25mm-300mm), and a high torque handle for high pressure valves from 2 1/2"- 8" (65mm-200mm). These quarter turn handles have a locking spring and a directional pointer for valve disc position indication. Bray also offers the Series 4 quarter-turn stainless steel gear operator for manual control of valve position. The weatherproof stainless steel housing is ideal for applications in highly corrosive environments as well as in breweries, pharmaceutical and sanitary industries.

FNW
FNW Quarter Turn

FNW offers pneumatic valve actuators for linear valves such as knife gates, slide gates, and wedge gate valves. Actuators can be supplied with doubleacting (air-to-open, air-to-close) and spring-return (air energized, spring to fail position closed or open) configurations depending on your control needs. Coupled with actuation accessories such as solenoids, position switches, and positioners, FNW can supply a valve with a complete control package. FNW can also supply hydraulic linear actuators.
