Knife Gate Valves
A knife gate valve is used to isolate flow. It’s done by either shutting off or allowing flow through the valve. A variety of manual and powered operators and options are available to suit your actuation needs.
In the late ‘70's FNW developed the first all-cast stainless steel knife gate valve in the country. From this product, the FNW Valve brand was born and FNW was established in 1979. Since then customer demand required that FNW expand into other products such as Ball, Butterfly, Gate, Globe, and Check valves. Even today, FNW continues to add additional products.

- Stainless Steel lined ductile iron body and stainless steel wetted parts for non-corrosive environment applications
- Thrust ball bearing yoke bushing for reduced handwheel torque on 18" and larger valves
- EPDM seat standard or Viton® (optional)
- Cast iron handwheel
- Bonnetless, outside screw and yoke, rising stem
- Available in sizes from 3" to 24" diameter
- Corrosion resistant stainless impregnated coating
- Meets MSS SP-81 specification for 150 PSI CWP
- Smooth flow, non-clogging step seat design
