Needle Valves

Needle valves are useful at precisely regulating flow, usually only low flow rates. The valve uses a small port and a threaded needle shaped plunger.

FNW VALVE CO.

FNW traces its roots to Familian Northwest, established in Portland, Oregon in 1969. In the late ‘70's, some industrious sales associates, responding to a demand from the pulp and paper industry, developed the first all-cast stainless steel knife gate valve in the country. From this product, the FNW Valve brand was born and FNW was established in 1979.

The figure NV brass needle valve is utilized for fine flow control in non-corrosive applications and controlling mild pulsations in water, oil, and gas service. It is also used as an isolation valve for pressure gauges and transmitters.
