A Newfoundland native completes a journey few have travelled.
Meet Al Hancock, a Newfoundland native who for the last 22 years has been working in Fort McMurray in the Alberta oil sands. Around 10 years ago Al started mountain climbing for a new and exciting challenge. Since then, Al has successfully completed well over twenty expedition style summits including all seven of world famous Seven Summits (the highest mountain on each of the world's seven continents). Currently, less than a dozen Canadians have completed this feat with only around 200 people worldwide.
