WEY knife gate valves have been on the market for over 40 years. The WEY brand of knife gate valves was first introduced into North America in the early sixties and sold under the brand name Josam-Wey. In 1987, WEY Valve, Inc was founded in Nettleton, Mississippi as the North American sales and manufacturing headquarters for the WEY brand valve line. Since then, WEY has developed various specialized models of knife gate and shear gate valves to solve specific process problems.
