Since 2015, the team at Summit has delivered over 600 Quadrosphere model 4700 Ball Valves (manufactured by Val-Matic Valve & Mfg. Corp.) to in-situ SAGD well pads across northeastern Alberta.
The units are a mix of Emergency Shut Down (ESD) and emulsion switching valves for severe service applications with process temperatures exceeding 300°C.
The Quadrosphere design has a unique self-cleaning ball that lasts longer, requires less torque, and consumes less space. So what? Well, we are pleased to state that all valves have been working reliably with ZERO reported failures in 9 years! 😍
