I Can’t See the Difference; Can You See the Difference?! 👀

Digital pressure transmitters have a max temperature limit that must be avoided to prevent damage. The two assemblies shown below look similar, but the application temperatures are significantly different!

The unit on the right is a conventional diaphragm seal system with protection up to 315°C. However, temperature spikes beyond this threshold can lead to various issues, including inaccurate measurements, sluggish response times, and more.

The unit on the left features Haygor’s ‘Thermal Guardian Diaphragm Seal’. This patented technology provides an additional barrier between a standard diaphragm seal and the instrument. It dissipates heat incredibly well, enabling process measurements at extremely high temperatures (up to 650°C)!

The 'Thermal Guardian' is not just a seal; it's engineered to enhance the performance, response time and accuracy of the mating pressure instrument. It offers a level of protection that’s unparalleled in the industry. 😎
