
The Mill Creek Flood Protection Project in Kelowna,delivered by CIMA+, has earned top honours at the 2025 Global Infrastructure Awards in Cape Town, South Africa. The project secured 1st place in the Small to Medium Project category, recognizing outstanding engineering on a global stage.
This multi-year initiative protects more than 1,650 properties and critical infrastructure by upgrading the Mill Creek diversion to safely redirect high flows to Mission Creek, while also restoring fish passage and improvingin-stream habitat.
Summit was proud to support this award-winning project by supplying Golden Harvest gates paired with Rotork electric actuators, helping deliver reliable flow control for a critical piece of flood protection infrastructure.
