Fourteen PRV stations just got a major upgrade. A customer recently modernized their system with Cla-Val 131-AV Electronic Interface Valves, complete with hydraulic pressure reducing and pressure sustaining backup.
The valves maintain upstream and downstream pressures through solenoid control, while hydraulic backup pilots keep things running if the power goes out. Operators can also adjust zone pressures remotely to reduce water loss during low-flow conditions.
Each valve is also paired with Cla-Val’s XP2F-X35 Data Acquisition and Flow Metering package, giving the operations team a real-time look at pressure, flow, leakage, and system distribution.
The result? Better visibility, more control, and less water loss across the system. ✅
