What's New?

Valvegate 🧐

A customer recently shared an issue with our team. The gate valves specified during their facility's construction could no longer isolate their pumps for maintenance, leading to unplanned shutdowns.

While gate valves are often chosen for their all-metal construction and cost-effectiveness, it's important to note that even when new, they leak a small amount of fluid when closed (as allowed by API598). This leakage only worsens over time as the metal seating surfaces wear down, resulting in maintenance issues.

The solution? Bray International Inc.’s Tri Lok Triple Offset Valve, a unique valve that provides zero leakage in various applications (from vacuum to high pressure). Its non-rubbing, metal-to-metal seat requires minimal torque, is certified fire-safe, and ensures uniform sealing for bubble-tight shutoff in both flow directions.

If you're facing a similar challenge, let's discuss how Summit’s advanced valve technologies, like Bray's TOV, could be the solution you've been looking for. ✔️
